Earthmoving equipment operator — Monterey County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Monterey County, California. The job is on a dam or embankment job. On a typical shift you will rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; refuel the machine and record running hours; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
