Lift technician — Trafford

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Trafford, England. You will work in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights Six days a week, one day off.
