Pressman wanted in Hancock County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Hancock County, Tennessee. You will work in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
