Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Kala-Balge, Borno State. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer.
