Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Nacogdoches County, Texas. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Your main tasks: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
