Immediate opening: we are hiring a personal car driver in Albemarle County, Virginia. The job is with a transport contractor. The role involves maintain the vehicle logbook and record opening and closing mileage; load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes; arrange routine servicing and renew insurance and PUC documents; park and reverse safely in tight loading bays and narrow lanes; carry out daily pre-trip checks on tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes and lights. You should have: • Valid police verification / background check • Able to read maps and use GPS navigation • Good knowledge of city roads, routes and shortcuts Overtime paid at a premium rate.
