Immediate opening: finish carpenter (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Cornwall, England. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists £2,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
