Finish carpenter — Ezeagu

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Ezeagu, Enugu State. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings On the job you will handle: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together 3+ years on the tools preferred.
