Restoration bricklayer wanted in Rapides Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
