Overhead (EOT) crane operator • Ikwuano, Abia State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Ikwuano, Abia State. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
