Excavator operator — Madison County

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Madison County, Iowa. The role involves work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. Requirements: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
