Concrete pump mate wanted in Nelson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Nelson County, Virginia. You will work on a building construction site. The role involves: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
