UPVC window fitter — Macon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Macon County, Illinois. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) The role involves cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
