Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Maiduguri, Borno State. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. You will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. ₦9,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
