Ladle pourer • LaGrange County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in LaGrange County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
