Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Wilson County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred.
