Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Livingston County, Illinois. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Part-time with flexible hours.
