Die-casting operator wanted in Cumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Cumberland County, Maine. The job is on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
