Short order cook — Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a short order cook in Lake County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
