Lift mechanic — Charlotte County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Charlotte County, Virginia. The job is at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time with occasional weekends.
