Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Iron County, Wisconsin. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
