Join our team: kitchen porter (Enugu State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Oji-River, Enugu State. You will work in a hospital canteen. On a typical shift you will wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
