Heavy equipment operator — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Franklin County, Virginia. The job is on a housing development site. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones The role involves: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Meals and transport allowance provided.
