Vacancy available: brickwork mason (Colorado)

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Archuleta County, Colorado. You will work at a renovation and extension job. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
