You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand On a typical shift you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch.
