Painter • Leelanau County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a painter in Leelanau County, Michigan. You will be based on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
