Trowel-trade bricklayer — Chambers County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Chambers County, Texas. You will be based on a new-build development. Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 1+ years on the tools preferred.
