Hydraulic crane operator — Prince Edward County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Prince Edward County, Virginia. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
