Press machine operator wanted in Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Lawrence County, Illinois. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Full-time with occasional weekends.
