Bread and bun maker — Deuel County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Deuel County, South Dakota. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Part-time with flexible hours.
