Presser — Buena Vista County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Buena Vista County, Iowa. You will work in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
