Immediate opening: toolroom milling operator (Montana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Treasure County, Montana. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 6+ years on the tools preferred.
