Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble installer in Allen County, Indiana. The job is at a kitchen worktop showroom. Your main tasks: • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
