Construction helper • Dixon County, Nebraska

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Dixon County, Nebraska. You will be based on a commercial building project. You will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
