Lifting rigger — Oye

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Oye, Ekiti State. The job is at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. ₦170,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
