Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Thomas County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
