Crane rigger • Adams County, Illinois

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Adams County, Illinois. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
