Furnace operator — Henderson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Henderson County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $9,500 per project, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
