Sand plant operator — Hardeman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Hardeman County, Texas. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
