Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Imperial County, California. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage The role involves: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Full-time with occasional weekends.
