Vertical milling machine operator — Ikpoba-Okha

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
