Core maker wanted in Dan Musa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Dan Musa, Katsina State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around ₦105,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
