Groundworker • Wayne County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Wayne County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
