Vacancy available: bench joiner (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bench joiner in Franklin County, New York. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. On the job you will handle: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
