Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
