You will straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates. Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
