We are recruiting: we are hiring a HVAC installer in Union County, Oregon. The job is at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
