Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Marion County, Alabama. The job is on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position.
