Formwork carpenter — Nueces County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Nueces County, Texas. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. On the job you will handle: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
