Paint and prep technician — Midlothian

We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Midlothian, Scotland. The job is in a spray booth. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On a typical shift you will mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour. 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
